Year of New Beer: Process Control, Southern Grist Brewing Co (Nashville)

Just when I'm starting to think I've got a little palate fatigue in regards to hazy IPAs, along comes this little number to slap some sense into me. Peach skin strikes the nose first, followed by grapefruit and a hint of berries. Very subtle sweetness, almost like angel food cake. It's a wonderful thing when the aroma transitions so flawlessly to the tongue, and this one does just that. Peach and tropical fruits are so soft and juicy, making this drink way too easy. The berry tones come off as gummy bears, just as the brewer intended. Only a touch of citrus peel bitterness near the end, with not even the slightest hint of alcohol. This is stellar.
