Year of New Beer: Coconut Sombrero, Clown Shoes (Boston)

Sweet milk chocolate that leans a bit toward brownie batter on the nose. Pretty solid coconut note with just a bit of roasty char. Not quite as sweet on the tongue as I was expecting given the aroma. Still dominated by chocolate, but the coconut is a bit more forward than it was on the nose. Nothing here really says 'Mexican Style', though, as there's no spiciness whatsoever. Moderately roasty malts help to tone down the sweetness. Overall, not bad, just not nearly as good as some of the Clown Shoes barrel-aged stuff.
