Year of New Beer: Karate Chimp, Prairie Artisan Ales (OK)

Little late getting around to this one. The advertised apricot and mango hit the nose with a tart, fruit skin presentation, while the tangerine lingers in the background. Hints of lime and white grape as well. Not quite as tart on the tongue as I was expecting, offering a modest pucker that allows some of the sweeter aspects of the fruits to come forward. Just a hint of bready, yeasty funk that quickly gives way to more fruit skin through the finish. Not my favorite from Prairie, but still pretty solid.
