Year of New Beer: S'more Gratitude, MadTree Brewing Co (Cincinnati)

Two nights in a row with MadTree, and this one is a bit more to my liking. Cocoa powder and vanilla hit the nose first, followed by some nuts and lightly charred malts. The char definitely stakes a claim to the early palate, but is tempered rather quickly by sweeter notes of chocolate and vanilla. Nuts and a touch of campfire smoke help to emulate its namesake dessert. A lot of flavor without being heavy. Nice beer.
