Year of New Beer: Fantasmo, Three Floyds Brewing Co (IN)

Not a ton going on here in the aroma department, which is no surprise, given the style. Very light grains, a touch bready, with a subtle floral hint that arrives as it opens up. On the tongue, this is exactly what is expected...light, crisp, and very refreshing. Much like the nose, cereal grains lead the way, with their sweetness being augmented by the perception of a golden, honey malt. This isn't bad at all, but I'd prefer the darker version of the style offered up by Mirror Twin in Lexington.
