Year of New Beer: Surette Reserva Sour Cherry, Crooked Stave Artisan Beer Project (CO)

Picked this up from the discount shelf at Liquor Box, and couldn't be happier that I did. Funky and earthy on the nose with red wine vinegar, dusty hay, leather, and a slightly woody tone. Sour on the tongue, but not aggressively so. Cherry is noticeable, but doesn't overpower. Hints of green apple and tart grape as well. Musty, with leather and cork moving toward a moderately dry finish. No idea what this was like fresh, but at 4 years old, it's very enjoyable.
