Full nose of roasted malts, baker's chocolate, nuts, and hints of dark fruits. Very smooth on the tongue, with the dark fruits increasing just a bit before the chocolate and roast really kick in. Traces of earthy hop bitterness, but never too much. Touch of char along the middle, giving way to a bit more sweetness as it warms. Never really gives any notice of its 12% ABV. Incredibly easy drinking. Very good.
