Year of New Beer: Barrel Aged Chernobly Coffee Peanut Butter
Written By: Dion on 12/04/2020
Nose opens with a big peanut butter and chocolate; aeration ushers in some potent bourbon notes. Dusty peanut shell hits first on the tongue, slowly melting into a rich, decadent butter. Chocolate adds a subtle sweetness that marries nicely with roasty malts and elements of oak and char. Solid bourbon heat throughout. Good at the beginning, but develops to outstanding as it warms. Very nicely done.
