Year of New Beer: The Stillness of a Personal Hell, Burial Beer Co (Asheville)

Nose runs the gamut from pineapple and mango to pear and peach, warming to let some earthy pine peek through. Soft and juicy on the tongue, with very little bitterness. Fruits come off as nearly candied atop a delicately sweet malt base. Melon, pineapple, pear, berries...seems to have a bit of everything. Alcohol is virtually non-existent, which is pretty impressive for 8.5%. Excellent beer.
