Year of New Beer: Big Wave Golden Ale, Kona Brewing (HI)

Very light floral tones as well as biscuit malt and sweet grains on the nose. On the tongue, things are not as sweet as I was expecting, which is a good thing. Additionally, lemon zest and a mild hop bitterness add another dimension to this workman-like beer. Crisp and refreshing, this brew doesn't over-promise and seems to do a thorough job of hitting the spot.
