Year of New Beer: Alloy, Tin Man Brewing (IN)

Fairly straight forward American Pale Ale here. Nose is a lighter, bready malt, with a grassy and mildly citrusy hop presence. On the tongue, the malt takes on a more caramel tone, and I think the hop bitterness is respectable, but not overpowering, as should be the case for the style. Kind of surprised at the overall low ratings this beer has been given on beeradvocate.com. Is it the best APA I've ever had? Certainly not, but for me it is a perfectly acceptable example of the style.
