Year of New Beer (Round 2): Oude Geuze Golden Blend, Brouwerij Drie Fonteinen (Belgium)

Tart and funky on the nose with notes of apple skin, lime, and sour white grapes, along with an earthy mustiness. Not nearly as tart on the tongue as I was expecting. Instead, the fruits are tempered by oak and earth with a certain mineral component. I'm still working my way into this style of beers, and I'm afraid this one will leave me spoiled. Excellent!
