Year of New Beer: Twin Sisters Double IPA, Left Hand Brewing (CO)

The nose is dominated by caramel malts, faint candied fruit, and very mild hops. On the tongue, the hop presence really doesn't hit the level expected from a double IPA. Malts and alcohol overpower the hop bitterness, and the carbonation seems to be lacking just a little bit. Not horrible, just not anything that makes me want to come back for more.
