Year of New Beer: Hop Centric Double IPA, Two Brothers Brewing (IL)

Nose offers up an initial kick of citrus followed by a more intense pine, then some caramel malt. Slightly less aromatic than I was expecting. On the tongue, the hops are a little more forward, offering up a solid grapefruit and pineapple. The malts take over, however, providing a floral, almost honey-like sweetness; finishes with a pretty good warming alcohol. This beer reminds me a lot of Hopslam, and that's not such a bad thing.
