Year of New Beer: Rum Aged, Innis & Gunn (Scotland)

Sweet dessert breads, toasted malts, and light alcohol on the nose. On the tongue, the sweetness comes to the forefront with hints of raisin and oak. The rum adds a nice touch but falls a little short of expectations. This is probably the best of the five beers I've had from this brewery, but still not unique enough to really differentiate the styles, as they've all had a similar flavor.
