Year of New Beer: Serendipity, New Glarus Brewing (WI)

Cherry and cranberry on the nose that are seemingly tart and sweet at the same time, while notes of apple peel surface with warmth. On the tongue it is a superb tightrope that is walked between the sour and sweet. The berries retain just enough punch to prevent the sweetness from becoming too much. Given that I'm not a fan of cranberry sauce, this beer was a nice addition to the Thanksgiving table. Big thanks to my friend Ben for the hookup
