Year of New Beer: Mercury, Bell's Brewery (MI)

A zesty nose is comprised of many elements-grass, hay, lemon, and yeast among several present. On the tongue is a definite lemon zest with a touch of chalky, mineral aspect. Mid-palate finds a rise in bitterness and a bit of peppery spice and clove. Finishes with a green, herbal note. Nothing amazing, but a solid beer.
