Year of New Beer: Imperial IPA, Epic Brewing (UT)

What starts as a slightly muted nose opens up nicely with warmth, straddling the line between citrus and floral influences. On the tongue, peach, mango, and grapefruit push against perfumed hop notes, all riding on a creamy sweet malt backbone. Superbly hidden alcohol. Very nicely done, Epic rarely disappoints.
