Year of New Beer: Barrel Aged 72 Imperial Chocolate Cream Stout, Breckenridge Brewery (CO)

Rich cocoa powder with hints of oak and burnt sugar on the nose. On the tongue, the chocolate becomes sweeter with a marshmallow creaminess, while the oak remains in the background. Elements of roasted nuts and lightly charred malts are present as well. Pretty nice beer, but probably better shared. Picked up at The Beer Trappe.
