Year of New Beer: Element 29 Cu, Epic Brewing (UT)

This morning I tell my wife that I'm ready to start the antibiotic with which no alcohol can be consumed. She consults with some colleagues, and they come up with a different regimen that lets me keep the streak going, at least for now. Silly? Sure, but it's nice to have a wife that goes to such trouble to preserve something that I'm so passionate about. This one has an aroma that is both citrusy and earthy, with a bit of biscuit. On the tongue is a slightly green, almost woody bitterness. A sweet, almost cereal grain flavor throws things off a little. Not a great beer. Puzzling that this brewery makes awesome specialty beers in large format bottles but I'm seldom impressed by their regular offerings. Looking forward to drinking something good, but until I get to where I can drink a full 12oz again, I'm not wasting anything.
