Year of New Beer: Chaotic Double IPA, Twisted Manzanita Ales (CA)

Big notes of tangerine, mango, and pineapple on the nose, with cursory elements of brown sugar and pine. On the tongue, the fruits are very juicy, almost candied in nature. The malt backbone does a good job balancing the bitterness. Gets a bit leafy and herbal on the finish, with an almost peppery bite. At 10% ABV, it's pretty potent. Not the best DIPA, but certainly enjoyable.
