Year of New Beer: Abigale, Sixpoint Brewery (NY)

With a nose that boasts candied fruits, grassy hops, and toasted breads, this one points to all things Belgian. Or at least as much as a beer from New York can. On the tongue, the fruits are at first crisp, then sweet, as apricots and peaches come to mind. Mid-palate finds a bit of peppery spice and clove, along with fresh cut grasses. Finishes a little dry with moderate bitterness. Pretty solid beer from a brewery from which I've come to expect no less.
