Year of New Beer: 2015 Harvest Single Hop IPA (Idaho 7 Varietal), Sierra Nevada Brewing (CA)

Nice orange and apricot on the nose, just as the label promised. Lesser floral notes are present as well. The fruits carry over very well to the tongue, joined by some candied sugar mid-palate. A sweet malt backbone supports the mild, floral bitterness. Even though this is still within the recommended 100 day drinking time, I wish I would have tried this sooner. Still a nice beer, especially considering the $4.99/24oz price tag.
