Year of New Beer: Cross Bones Session IPA, Heavy Seas Beer (MD)

Fairly ho-hum nose features both citrus and floral hops, with neither really standing out. On the tongue, the bitterness is a bit harsh and unrefined, getting a bit grassy as so many of these session IPAs seem to do. A respectable amount of malt backbone, but not enough to add much depth or interest. Not a bad beer, just not anything special.
