
Year of New Beer: Oktoberfest, Revolution Brewing (Chicago)

Lightly toasted bread crust, sweet apple, and just a hint of grape on the nose. Flavors are subdued with a caramel malt that has subtle spice notes and mild roasted nuts. Full disclosure--I'm not a fan of Oktoberfest beers in general, but this is not bad.
