Year of New Beer: Rod Bender, 3 Daughters Brewing (FL)

Fairly run of the mill red ale here, as a mediocre nose offers up light caramel, toasted bread, and a bit of dark fruit. On the tongue is a sweet malt that overpowers the traces of roasted nuts and earthy hops that lie beneath. Not a bad beer, just a little boring, a label that I seem to apply to a vast majority of reds. At least those not named Papaw.
