Year of New Beer: ReDANKulous, Founders Brewing (MI)

Big, green herbal notes lead the way, as cursory citrus pith builds with warmth. Caramel and honey show up as well, along with a trace of cured tobacco. On the tongue, the hop resins are sticky, with pine and grasses overtaking grapefruit and candied pineapple. Sturdy bitterness holds on through the finish. Alcohol is warm but fairly well hidden. Nice beer.
