Year of New Beer: Forgas, Dugges Ale/Porterbryggeri AB (Sweden)

Brewed in conjunction with Stillwater, this Gose hits the right notes on the nose with lime, seltzer, light wheat, and briny seawater. The sour rips at the taste buds, coming on as crabapple, and very tart white grape, with a persistent salt and lime. Very light baked bread and an almost smoke quality on the finish. My only complaint is in the mouthfeel, where it could use just a bit more bite, as it presents just a bit flat. Overall a pretty solid version of the style. Another score from the Trappe.
