Year of New Beer: Code 3, Old Firehouse Brewery (OH)

 Toasted bread crust, caramel malt, and a bit of cured tobacco on the nose. On the tongue is a very mild, earthy hop bite, which quickly subsides. Taking over from there is again a sweet malt backbone, which is augmented by a light nuttiness and toasted bread. This is a decent red ale, but nothing to seek out.
